What’s the fascination with man’s quest to live on Mars? Why not choose a closer planet to inhabit?

Why not chose our own planet to inhabit. Earth is not disposable.

In science fiction Hollywood and people’s imagination, we are going to Mars or other planets to inhabit.

Sadly, it’s not going to happen. It’s too expensive, Congress will never fund it, it’s a dead planet that you can’t grow anything on or breathe the atmosphere.

There are no plans to inhabit Mars – or any other planet at the moment.
