Point of Light Through Saturn’s Rings

Okay. This is a weird picture and once you get your head around what you’re seeing, it’s pretty cool.

This is a photo from Cassini, a man-made satellite in orbit around Saturn. Here we are underneath Saturn’s closest ring — between the ring and the planet, looking up. The little white dot? That’s Earth.
