My social life is completely screwed up, I don’t know how to bond with people.

The glue of bonding with people is being a good listener. If you listen to people and ask questions about themselves but say little about yourself, everyone will say what a great conversationalist you are and how wonderful you are. This simple and wonderful secret was first shared in a book called How to Make Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. As a young teenager, reading my father’s copy changed the course of my life.

How to Win Friends and Influence People is one of the first best-selling self-help books ever published. Written by Dale Carnegie (1888–1955) and first published in 1936, it has sold over 30 million copies world-wide, and went on to be named #19 on Time Magazine’s list of 100 most influential books in 2011.” -Wikipedia
