That depends on your definition of necessities. Here on Earth there are people that live off-grid and get electricity from solar panels and running water from pipes up into the hills. Some of them even have solar water heaters for hot water – basically a black water tank on the roof that heats up in sunlight.
On another planet you’d want to also make sure you had enough air to breathe and be able to grow food.
So if the planet you’re living on has all of that then you could live there off-grid, but you probably wouldn’t have cell phones or streaming video and you probably wouldn’t be able to go shopping whenever you need something.
You’d probably be very isolated and lonely. Hopefully you’d have some family with you to keep you company.
