Have they filled out the proper forms to pass through immigration? Have they brought anything with them that might cause disease or bacterial infection? Have they brought any fruits or vegetables? How long do they plan to stay? Do they want to apply for citizenship or declare themselves refugees? Is their spacecraft registered with the FAA and NASA and have they paid the required taxes?

The government is supposed to check all these things. That’s what we elect them for.
